cuddles for winter

Oh these two! Such a funny little friendship between this toddler and kitten. Piper just adores Winter (our kitten) and Winter loves her right back. Winter is the most placid and sweet natured kitten, which is great because Piper’s brand of loving is totally crazy-cakes over the top with the snuggles and the smooches and the constantly grabbing-up-for-hugging.

Tackle-snuggles on the bed? Winter doesn’t care and if I try to “rescue” her, she will just jump back up and go straight over to Piper again.

Nap time is no exception. Today I actually had to stop Winter from trying to groom Piper’s hair while she slept. But not until I snuck a quick photo of it first.
